Why I started The Cozy Edit

I started The Cozy Edit at a time when I felt a little bit lost.
On the outside, my life looked quite full — I’m a marketing manager based in London, busy with work, deadlines, meetings and plans. But on the inside, I was struggling to find my place in the world and, at times, struggling with depression. I didn’t quite know where I fit, or what I was meant to be doing beyond just getting through the days.
What I did know was that I kept finding small pockets of comfort in very ordinary places.
In making my home feel warm and calm.
In rearranging a shelf, lighting a candle, or choosing cushions that made me smile.
In listening to country music while cooking dinner.
In spending an evening quietly working on a diamond art painting, one tiny piece at a time.
These small things didn’t fix everything — but they helped. They gave me moments of peace, beauty and joy when I needed them most. And slowly, I realised I wanted to hold onto those moments… and maybe even share them.
The Cozy Edit started as a simple idea: a little online corner where I could collect and share the things that made me feel better — cosy home finds, comforting routines, gentle inspiration, and the everyday details that make life feel a bit softer. I wanted it to be a place that felt like a deep breath. A place you could visit when the world feels loud, heavy or overwhelming.
I’m not here because I have it all figured out. I don’t.
I’m here because I’m learning — how to be kinder to myself, how to notice the good, how to build a life that feels more like mine.
If you’re reading this and you’re also trying to find your footing, or trying to find joy in small, quiet ways — I hope The Cozy Edit feels like a gentle companion. A reminder that it’s okay to move slowly, to care about soft things, and to build meaning from the little moments.
That’s why I started this.
Not to be perfect.
Just to be real — and a little bit cozier 🤍
